The high school football regular season concluded for most teams in Ohio last week, and the top programs in the Buckeye State are now focused on the postseason.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Ohio high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 27.

1. Elder Panthers

The best team in Ohio high school football had a perfect 10-0 record after a 35-7 victory over De La Salle Collegiate. It would have been a shutout win if not for the points scored by the Pilots in the third quarter. Elder heads to the playoffs after a spotless regular season.

2. Archbishop Moeller Crusaders

After losing to St. Edward, the Crusaders bounced back with a 56-13 victory against Muskegon. Tyler Josleyn rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, while Matt Ponatoski threw for 141 yards and a touchdown. Nick Monserez added a passing and a rushing touchdown. Next on Archbishop Moeller’s schedule is the regional quarterfinals on November 7.

3. Olentangy Orange Pioneers

The Pioneers finished the 2025 Ohio high school football with a 10-0 record after a 26-14 victory against Olentangy Liberty. This spotless run carries Olentangy Orange to the playoffs, which starts on November 7.

4. St. Edward Eagles

The Eagles dropped to fourth after losing to Archbishop Hoban. Despite this loss, St. Edward still has an impressive 8-2 record as they compete in the postseason.

5. Bishop Watterson Eagles
