According to the Massey Ratings, the No. 1 team in high school football continues to reside out of Oklahoma. The Bixby Spartans remain the country’s best team after a school-record 92-0 rout of Enid.

What other Oklahoma high school football teams make the cut when it comes to the best out of the Sooner State?

The Massey Ratings, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.

Here is the latest Oklahoma high school football Top 25 rankings, according to Massey as of Oct. 21.

1. Bixby Spartans

Bixby (7-0) plays some of the most unorthodox style of football you’ll see on the high school football level and led 71-0 at halftime against Enid. The Spartans were able to come away with a school-record 92-0 victory, despite only playing starters for a quarter and a running clock.

The Spartans opened the 2025 Oklahoma high school football season with a 49-21 whooping of Owasso. It was just last year when the Spartans notched a one-point victory over the Rams to capture their tenth Class 6A-I state championship.

The Spartans followed the win up over Owasso with a 56-7 rout of Charles Page the following week and have won five straight to start the season. Bixby has one of the top offensive line units in the state, thanks to four-star prospect Kaeden Penny (Oklahoma commit) and Jacob Hamlin. Next up for Bixby is a tough road tilt against Mustang.

2. Jenks Trojans

The Trojans (6-1) avenged last season’s 30-27 loss to Owasso in the Class 6A-I state semifinals in Week 2 when they defeated the Rams, 31-21. Could this be the season Jenks reaches the state championship in 6A-I?

Jones a couple weeks ago against the Broncos set numerous school records, which included the single game rushing yards (445), touchdowns in a contest (eight scores), all-purpose yards in a game (549) and touchdowns for a high school career at Jenks (67).

The Trojans looks for their seventh win of the season when they go up against Moore.

3. Owasso Rams

Owasso (5-3) started the regular season off with three straight losses before beginning to bounce back and now currently riding a 3-game win streak. The Rams have notched three straight victories over Memorial, Union and Westmoore, respectively.

The Rams feature one of the top offenses in the state, led by quarterback Drew Frankenfield, wide receiver Takhari Bethel, defensive lineman Tajh Overton, safety Carter Langenderfer, offensive lineman Brooks Barron, and wideout Julius Wilson.

Owasso looks to win a fourth straight game when they take on Santa Fe (1-6) this week.

4. Lincoln Christian School Bulldogs

The undefeated Lincoln Christian School (7-0) Bulldogs looked impressive in a 49-3 win over Muldrow last week.

The Bulldogs are coming off a pair of blowout victories and have out-scored their last two opponents by a combined score of 174-3. Quarterback Carter Ricke has been very efficient this season, completing 81 of 113 passes for 1,373 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Lincoln Christian School returns home this week to take on Checotah.

5. Broken Arrow Tigers

Broken Arrow (4-2) sneaks inside of the Top 5 in this week’s set of rankings after they had an impressive 43-14 win over Norman North.

The Tigers have played well behind a stout offensive attack, led by senior signal caller Jeramiah Ssettimba, who has thrown for 648 yards and five touchdowns. Next up for Broken Arrow is a road matchup against Union.
