Teddy Bridgewater attends Northwestern-Raines 3A title game
Former Miami Northwestern head coach and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Teddy Bridgewater wasn’t going to miss seeing his alma mater compete for another state championship.
This time, however, Bridgewater would have to watch from afar and not from the sidelines as the former Bulls’ lead man has been spotted in attendance in Friday night’s Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 3A state title game between Northwestern and Raines.
This is not a rarity Bridgewater to step out and see his old ball club as he was at Northwestern’s playoff win over Orlando Bishop Moore, giving high fives to the players after the contest to congratulate them on the victory.
The former Miami Northwestern head coach is currently under a suspension by the school for the 2025-26 school year due to the allegations of providing impermissible benefits to his players.
