Wisconsin High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Sep. 30

The Wisconsin high school football season is officially at the halfway point and there’s a clearer picture of who the top teams are across the Badger State.
Arrowhead Warhawks is the No. 1 team in Wisconsin once again as they’ve held firm at the top spot. From powerhouse programs with rich traditions to promising underdogs looking to make a statement, here are the Top 25 teams in Wisconsin, according to Massey.
The Massey Ratings, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.
Here is the latest Wisconsin high school football Top 25 rankings, according to Massey as of Sep. 30.
1. Arrowhead Warhawks
Arrowhead Warhawks (5-1) entered the 2025 season looking to win their first state crown since 2013 and have started off fast with five wins this season. The Warhawks are coming off a 38-0 victory over Oconomowoc last week.
Jacob Siner (81 carries, 723 yards) has been the driving force behind Arrowhead’s offense this season and along with fellow back Jebari Craig Jr. (373 yards). Arrowhead starting quarterback Nolan Hanson (66 of 108 passes, 854 yards) has been solid with pass catchers Logan Crowley (19 catches, 267 yards) and Ryan Heiman (18 catches, 252 yards) leading the way.
The Warhawks are back in action Friday night against No. 9 Mukwonago (4-1).
2. Franklin Sabers
Aside from the season opening 23-20 win over Catholic Memorial, the Franklin Sabers (6-0) have been otherwise dominant through the opening few weeks of the season.
What hasn’t been a problem is scoring and stopping opponents, as the Sabers are averaging around 40 points per game and holding opposing offenses to less than 10 a contest. There’s a real chance that Franklin could run the table undefeated the rest of the way.
This Friday night’s contest against Tremper (1-5) should be a seventh straight victory for Franklin as they take aim at an unbeaten 2025 campaign.
3. Muskego Warriors
The Muskego Warriors (5-1) started off last season with a 3-3 record before going the rest of the way 6-2, with Muskego losing to Bay Port, 25-18, in the Division I state championship.
Muskego is off to a much better start and just recently upended top-ranked Arrowhead, 21-17, a couple weeks ago. The Warriors have been playing very well defensively, allowing just 69 points this fall through six games. Muskego returns to action this week when they take on Kettle Moraine (2-4).
