Palacios High School, located in Palacios, Texas, is one of the Coastal Bend’s respected public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Sharks, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer. The Sharks are particularly recognized for football, baseball, and volleyball, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
