Peabody High School, located in Trenton, Tennessee, is well-known for its strong athletic programs, especially in football and basketball. Competing in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) as a Class 1A school, Peabody’s athletic teams are called the Golden Tide. The football team, a prominent force in Tennessee high school sports, has reached the state playoffs numerous times, capturing titles and consistently maintaining a reputation for high performance. Basketball is also popular at Peabody, with boys’ and girls’ teams that compete at a high level in their division.
