Roosevelt High School, located in Lubbock, Texas, is one of the South Plains’ respected public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Eagles, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, and cross country. The Eagles are particularly recognized for football, baseball, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
