Salmen High School, established in 1965 in Slidell, Louisiana, is part of the St. Tammany Parish School District. It serves southern Slidell and Eden Isle. Known for its commitment to academics and resilience after Hurricane Katrina, the school was rebuilt and reopened in 2010. Salmen's athletics program has a strong legacy, with notable achievements including multiple state championships in football and basketball. The school’s mascot is the Spartans, and its teams compete in the LHSAA.
