Bio

St. Charles High School, located in Waldorf, Maryland, is one of the newer athletic programs in Southern Maryland but has quickly established itself as a competitive force. Known as the Spartans, the school competes in the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) and is a member of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association. Since opening in 2014, St. Charles has developed successful programs across football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, track and field, and cross country. The Spartans are particularly known for football and boys basketball, earning playoff appearances and producing collegiate athletes while steadily building a reputation within one of Maryland’s most competitive conferences. The school has also found success in track and field and soccer. Supported by modern facilities, a growing student body, and strong community backing, St. Charles continues to expand its athletic tradition and regularly competes for conference and regional honors.
