Vernon High School, located in Vernon, Texas, is one of North Texas’ respected rural public-school athletic programs and has built a proud tradition of success across multiple sports. Known as the Lions, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field, cross country, powerlifting, and cheer.
