Westlake

Westlake High School, located in Waldorf, Maryland, is one of Southern Maryland’s most respected athletic programs and a longtime competitor in the highly competitive Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC). Known as the Wolverines, the school is a member of the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association and has achieved success across football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, lacrosse, volleyball, track and field, and cross country. Westlake is particularly renowned for football, where the Wolverines have captured regional titles, advanced deep into the state playoffs, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
