Wharton

Wharton High School, located in Wharton, Texas, is one of the Gulf Coast’s respected public-school athletic programs and has built a strong tradition of competition across multiple sports. Known as the Tigers, the school competes in the University Interscholastic League and fields teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, golf, tennis, swimming, track and field, and cross country. The Tigers are particularly recognized for football, baseball, and track and field, with programs that have earned district championships, playoff appearances, and produced numerous collegiate athletes.
