Are you sure about this? I feel like this is something that would have come up on the board 36 times this week if it were true.

If 2 G5 teams get in over the ACC getting any. Can you call the ACC a Power 4 conference anymore? I think were are starting to see that huge step back we thought they would eventually take.

Been saying it for a few weeks now: we need to start referring to the ACC and Big 12 as G8. We are closer to G6 than P2, and it's only going to get worse in the future.

I hope Duke wins and the ACC is left out screw this conference

ACC is not good enough of a conference to get two teams in the playoffs. It’s either Virginia or nothing in my opinion.

Big 12 had multiple teams make the playoff in the last few years. Our best success is an average Clemson team that lost by two scores.

Stopped calling it a power conference in December 2023. Anyone that still calls it that is collecting antiques, might as well walk around with an Olde English accent.

Come on Duke lets create chaos and make sure no acc team makes the playoff. Misery absolutely love company. Duke makes it to 8-5 acc champ and goes to a NY6 bowl while scUM heads to poptarts bowl. We will see James Madison Indiana tulane make the playoffs before FSU, scUM , uf. Crazy crazy times we live in

This system is broken. They need to adopt a playoff system like the NFL. You want to pay players and act like the NFL, then be the NFL. Salary caps and playoff settings. But that doesn't benefit the eSECpn.

There is no auto bid by conference. The five highest-ranked conference champions receive playoff invites, and if Duke wins the ACC a G5 conference winner will be higher ranked than Duke lol
