Not sure how reputable this report is — but she was an NFL “insider-reporter” for a long time. Believe she is also a UNC grad?

Shocking to me but Josina normally knows her stuff.

If it’s going to happen hopefully it happens soon while Chesney is still there to be had. Although I feel like UCLA is where he eventually ends up unfortunately.

Well, as bad as this year was, next year will be even worse if he leaves. Late cycle hire, transfer portal will open for the roster. Kudos JP, you thought you were playing chess last year, you were actual playing russian roulette with the program. And the bullet was in the chamber

I actually hope not. Recruiting is going well and we need stability. Needs a new OC and QB coach for sure but I'd hate to completely start over.

Can’t wait for the @Macttp head coaching search thread in a few weeks

I don’t either but I’m very surprised that a reputable source says he is being seriously considered for NFL jobs.

If this is going to happen it needs to happen in the next couple of weeks.

Whatever you think about BB, leaving for the NFL would set us back for a long time. The recruiting class would dissolve, portal success would be impossible, and hiring a top coach with the other coaching vacancies out there would be a massive challenge. Next year would be worse than this year.

The bad part about this would be timing. He would be leaving just as the portal is closing, making it impossible to fill a roster.

Wouldn't be ideal to lose him after one season, no matter how rough it may have been, but I do love me a good coaching search.

And some people think this year is bad... if he leaves we might not win 1 game next year

She is credible. Will be curious to see how quickly that happens. Will absolutely screw Carolina if it happens in January.

I’ll still be surprised if it happens.

I am not sold on Belichick but I don't wanna endure another coaching search this year. Last year was the year. Gotta hope we can turn it around in 2026.

Wouldn’t it almost be required to happen in January, with the NFL rules on hiring.

I'll say one thing for the last twelve months, there's never been a dull moment that's for sure
