Any Chance ND Is Quiet

I think it’s as simple as ND taking the high road here. Not to mention the optics of ND begging for a playoff spot wouldn’t be great.

I’m not part of the “ya’ll” I had no problem with Jack. I don’t know enough and wouldn’t want to try juggle independence/conference, etc. I would hope Pete is able to read the room and needs to be vocal will do so. We don’t know what goes on behind the doors just hypothesizing.

It's very logical. As others have pointed out also, the Vegas odds are not even close (ND -400, Miami +400). I can't imagine that Vegas doesn't have some idea about what is being discussed.

ND shouldn't beg for anything. It would make us look like a desperate, sorry, sack of crap not worthy of our legacy. We deserve to be in. Our record speaks for itself. ACC is on the edge of slipping roofies into committee member's drinks just before driving them home, because "that's what friends do"

Seriously. Since there are no "real" bowl games anymore (since they're all part of the playoffs now), the only bowl I want to go to is Pop Tarts. Until American Eagle sponsors the Good Jeans Bowl. That would be my new favorite.

I agree. Notre Dame has been getting shit on because there Independent. FuCK THE ACC and all the other conferences. They hate us because were a Catholic instutation. Are atheltes can carry on a conversation when ask Questions not like the Sothern schools who only use there players for football and all the other sports thats what seperates Notre Dame from all the rest .

What room are we talking about? There's a pretty clear list of folks who are on the CFP committee and he's not one of them.

One thing Freeman does not do is take shots at other coaches, AD’s, school Presidents in public! Other schools have no problem criticizing ND. Texas Tech and Miami outwardly complaining about ND at press conferences..The entire ACC for that matter! If ND does not make the playoff, I want someone to explain how a team that has ability to win a title was left out! How many of the top 12 can win it all? Ohio St., Indiana, Georgia and probably Oregon! Notre Dame is one of those teams. Miami would not win it all! Alabama or Oklahoma? Nope! I never thought there would be a scenario Notre Dame on a ten game win streak would be left out But just have a feeling ND is going to get screwed! The move to 10 is setting it up in the final rankings I can just feel it!

All good. There seems to be plenty of confusion on the process and those involved. I does seem noteworthy to me that Notre Dame has been in the playoff field in every ranking so far, so proactively complaining about getting left out when you're not left out would be a bit offputting.
