It's getting close. I would give him until next year but only because this is his 5th year and 4th OC. Will be interesting to see what Coen can do for him this year and next. Still needs to put better touch on the ball as he missed a few throws yesterday. Also 2 years ago his WRs led the league in drops by a huge number and had a few more yesterday.
EDIT: he also needs to stop getting hurt. He was really bad last year but much better his 2nd and 3rd years.

It's not a hidden secret that Lawrence got zero development at Clemson and was nowhere close to being ready. It's also not a secret that the majority of Clemson players struggle at the next level because of this lack of development to be prepared to compete. They are currently on pace to ruin 4 straight 5 star Qbs. Watson is a sexual predator. Lawrence is borderline bust and Ukeleelee and Klubnuts obviously regressed. What other college program can boast about QB development like Clemson?

He did ok yesterday. Still has no urgency to him and missed a few throws for big yards if he'd had some touch.
That trade for Hunter is what's gonna burn them. If Hunter doesn't start becoming a serious weapon on offense then that move was a disaster. Hunter playing defense was always a joke.

Hasn’t lived up to the hype as a prospect but no not what you would call a bust. Bust is what you call guys like Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Anthony Richardson. That being said this is a pivotal year for him. He still has the talent to be a top 10-12 QB and after year 2 it looked like that was the case. Can Coen get him back to playing at that level? Or is he going to be just another average to below average starting QB a la Ryan Tanneyhill
