Ross wouldn't be a bad choice, I'd take DeRosa over him. Really don't think you could go wrong with either. Walt Weiss will prob be a strong candidate too. I could see them trying to bring Wash back as 3rd base coach too.

Skip Schumaker is a good option too

Bringing Wash would be huge. DeRosa would be the obvious choice. Weiss & Ross would be the guys I go after only if DeRosa passes on the job. Roster is too talented to have another season like this. Injuries hurt us and some guys just didn’t hit well the this year.

Apparently Washington have quadruple bypass surgery in June and that’s why he missed the rest of the year. He might be done.

Hope OP is right but Snit seems like a guy who can’t let go. It’s really up to the brass on if they’d renewed him and have the balls to tell him thanks but you’re not getting extended. I like Derosa but I do worry he’s another Cox guy and I wonder if this org needs a break from that tree

I mean idc but those are two of the most respected young managers in the game. Only reason David Ross isn’t managing this year is not many came open last year and he didn’t want to be a bench coach. He got a lot of the blame in Chicago that was more organizational issues. DeRo had a lot of high praise from the best players in the game after WBC

You tired of winning games? Don’t think Bobby or his legacy was the issue this year. Snit was frustrating, but we won the title and went to the playoffs almost every year he was here. Not to many other teams have won as many games and divisions as the Braves since 1991. I get what you’re saying tho. I think DeRo and Rossy both breathe new life and energy into the clubhouse and are former Braves . Win-win
