No problem, K7. Hate that it comes down to this, but it's the reality of the business. And it's certainly heightened at this level relative to expectations not matching results.

Nobody would believe that because Verge ain't in there.

They can offer up as many sacrificial lambs as they want. It’s BK or nothing.

I don’t think anyone will be satisfied until the birthday boy has been canned. Not sure why we’d delay the inevitable. I hope back channel discussions with potential whale hires has already started.

They also can't let BK keep coaching - regardless of if he's here next season or not - and then also not make any staff changes at all. The donors and the fanbase have hit a point of fatigue and vocal frustration that requires change to happen, let alone the powers that be feeling the same way headed into the weekend and knowing a poor result would mean action needed to be taken now.

Unless it’s BK, it’s not good enough, he’s killing the culture

Seems that the likeliest scenario is BK firing the offensive staff minus Frank and you get him next year on the hot seat. Or he retires. Unless it goes completely off the rails.

lol we know you want BK in 2026. He’d have to win out for that to happen

I don’t know how much more I can handle BK talking about the team being unprepared and not playing complimentary football then going out the next game and having the same issues.

When have I ever said I want Brian Kelly in 2026? Just because I have a different opinion about Lane than you doesn’t mean I want Brian Kelly.

Oh “Off the rails” is coming. I’d be shocked if and when they make the changes, that it makes a difference this late in the game.

I get the money aspect , but look at the schedule next year and the turmoil we will have from all of the players leaving. If they are waiting until next season, why? I can’t see donors helping him again with an elite portal class. The team could be pretty bad next season, so again, why just let him stay when we all know how it will turn out?

Oh I agree Sloan, Davis, etc need to be fired also. And they will be the 1st to go. But ultimately nothing changes until BK is the one fired. He has gone way past the point of no return. The entire fan base knows it doesn’t matter how many changes are made to the staff. There’s 1 man ultimately responsible destroying this program.

I mean even if you fire BK today, chances are your top candidate(s) are the in the middle of fighting for CFP spots. Even with a handshake agreement you’re not getting your next coach until December at the earliest even if he were a coordinator. I do believe he does get the can, but I just don’t see them pulling the trigger today is my point. Sloan, Davis, and possibly Hankton need to go.

I hope I wake up and my dream is the governor with some sort of surplus from somewhere and some generous donors come up with the plan to fire BK and hire Lane. He would INSTANTLY fix our offense and we would always have a QB. Then the fan base would go nuts with Lane in BR as well as our donors. Personally I would make the biggest contribution I have ever made if this happened.

Meant to add onto my own comment that the lack of preparation is on Kelly and it’s insanely frustrating watching him give the same excuses every week
