I’m always up to laugh at Bama. Keelon probably will be better than Ty though. Big question is whether DeBust will start Mack over him though

This QB class sucks and he watched Mac Jones go in the 1st round because of the scripted A on his helmet.

This is prob a net positive for them, ushering in the Russell era But their problem isn't QB play, it's physicality on the lines and they lack it on both sides

My 9 year old son plays NCAA football all the time as Alabama. He loved putting Russell in until he found Mack. He said Russell can throw far, but it’s accurate. He always starts Mack.

I was 100% not excited about JD leaving so we could have Nuss as the starter... JD was clearly far and away the better QB lol so don't think this is even remotely a similar scenario...

Hate to be that dude but… ty is a fine QB. He dealt with injuries late. Put up great stats. Was good in their playoff win @ Oklahoma.

To be fair NE situation wasn’t ideal and he’s thrived since being with the 49ers. The offensive staff was a*s at best!!!!

Usually the only good predictors of QB success are completion % and yards per attempt…all under the umbrella of having a ton of starts (everything is a crap shoot if they don’t have a ton of starts…even if the stats are good). Simpson is at 64% and 7.2 per attempt. He has 15 starts…all this year. I’m not sure why anyone goes all in with a guy with that few starts unless they are just ridiculous. Even then I’d be worried. id be fine drafting the dude in the 3rd round if I knew I wouldn’t HAVE to play him. but anyone who drafts him ahead of Nuss is a moron.
