Can you honestly say the way Josh is managing games doesn’t make you nervous?

It’s not about hating him or calling for his job. Stop with that crap it’s ridiculous some of you think he can’t be questioned. the 4th quarters of the last 2 games plus the Georgia game are red flags. It’s not about not being happy with winning a game. It’s about getting better and seeing warning signs that can cost us down the road. And almost did the last 2 games. yes we won these 2 games but they were not well coached. Imo

I don’t understand feeling the need to turn the game over to the defense when they are struggling. He did it vs UGA and did it today.

It’s not good but like all coaches they think they are invincible. Very few want to truly evaluate their weaknesses and fix it. Hate to admit because I loathe the guy but that is why Saban is the GOAT. He always evaluated and adapted.

he really needs to trust his Senior qb the way he managed the last 2 minutes of the game in Starkville was just very poor.

UT went into a shell on offense & defense after going up 34-17. I understand trying to slow your own offense to chew up click, but not to this extreme

So far it seems like he’s coaching like he has the 2024 defense. That side of the ball is a train wreck. The offense is this years strength. He has to get back to his aggressiveness like he was pre 2024

I think people have a gold standard in their mind that most college coaches just will never be able to attain. Doesn't mean you don't work towards improving it, but if you've watched college football this year outside of our bubble...you'll quickly understand most fail to hit sequencing at even a good level, let alone elite.

He managed the last 10 minutes of the game exactly how he should have with a 17 point lead. And the W beside the box score proves that. And I’m not one that thinks JH can do no wrong. This wasn’t one of those things IMO

well i disagree. We hung on against a team we are a lot better than because we went into a shell. for one trust your offense and put the games away.

I haven't gotten nervous in any of the previous 6 games. Not at all. In fact, I told my granddaughter today when we went up 34-17, game over. reminded her of that after each of the next two scores.

There’s plenty to be critical of and it’s justified. But on the other side of that, there’s some that are saying we need to make a change. That’s just dumb as hell.

I just want to be clear here. You're criticizing Heup and saying he "didn't trust his offense" after we went up 34-17 because we ran the ball on 2nd and 7 and then ran again on 3rd and 3 which forced a punt? We had two offensive drives after that point in the game with the 2nd one being the game sealer where we rushed the ball 4 times straight into kneel downs. You're acting like we got put into 3rd and 7/8+ and decided to run the ball. It was 3 yards...one could absolutely argue that he is trusting his offense to get 3 yards on the ground.

It drives me crazy. Feels like there are glaring mistakes. And yet he has two 10 wins seasons and a 9 win season here. Another 9 win season and a 12 win season at UCF. Maybe the pros outweigh the cons? He’d be Saban level good or maybe better if one or two more games went his way. Is he over performing based on his decision making? Or is the aggravate somehow pretty dang good even though it makes us nervous? It does feel like the decision making holds us back from being a championship level team. They have to learn to play clean football to win it all.

You're dodging my question. Are you throwing on 3rd and 3 on the opponents 44 yard line with 5:37 left in the game up by 10 points? It's a yes or no question.

Having a W in the win column does not mean it was managed properly. What if our starting QB was seriously injured on a scramble that never needed to happen because the game should not have been in doubt? Results aren't always an indicator of strategy. I can guarantee you that the Titans plan of letting a guy go for 72 yards only to release the ball prior to the goal line and then throwing a pick only to have them fumble for your own TD is not very sustainable. But it got a W in the win column, right?

‘Hell yes I am the strength of our team right now is our qb. I trust him you are thinking like Josh. Afraid of what might go wrong. How about putting the game away against the worst defense in the sec? We coached not to lose against the two worst teams in the league

Yes. Or if I'm running there it's because I know I'm going to go for it on 4th down if I don't get it. It's not the run call so much as the punting it there.
