Aiden Chiles isn't even in my top 10 list of portal QB's. If Rhule lands this guy over other much better QB's that are available, and I'm not even speaking about the two big names, Sorsby and Leavitt, I will be very upset. Chiles will be Sims 2.0.

Chiles is a great get at QB...he would easily start

Okay... I think you need to get HCMR on the phone and let him know. Not sure if you saw this kid play for Oregon St... but he was terrific..

Compare his stats to Usc's QB when we played them. would you not want Maiava either?

I agree and usually id say lets see if a change of scenery is good for the kid but hes already done that once and already said he doesn't give a crap about the fans at Mich St. Hard pass for me

I'm more excited about Mason McKenzie, and he would cost us a lot less. If you look at his career highlights on you tube the kid is dynamic.

He was a seldom used backup at Oregon State.

There’s a lot there but just to address our game. There were 40mph winds that’s game and he played part of the game concussed.

Yeah that seems like a winning move…take a guy that got benched at a BIG 10 school that went 1-8 on the season….seems par for the course…at least you keep your inexperienced freshman QB, have a serviceable backup, and have more money to get lineman and possibly a nice RB…if we go to ground and pound I can live with the QB disappointment.

Who’s available ? And this is one visit. Doesn’t mean we are signing him . It’s posters like you that are clueless in the process. And did you watch him Besides our game ? He looked pretty good against USC and Iowa .

Idk what to tell you. I’ve watched him play many times since he was at Oregon st and there’s plenty there to get excited about. No idea if it would work and I would want Lateef to battle it out. But he’s as talented as any of these guarantee QBs that will be in our price range. We’re not paying $4m for a QB and I’m glad we aren’t.

I personally prefer the QB who has proven production and has put up numbers and wins at a lower level over formerly high rated guys who have yet to put it all together at a P4. I’d also prefer a QB who has won a lot of games over one who has always been on a losing team. But I have no control over who our staff targets and it doesn’t seem like they have the same mindset as me. I’ll be hopeful for whoever they bring in but I would much prefer finding a guy who is proven and a winner moving up in competition.

Sorsby and Leavitt are going to CFP level teams. NU can pay as much as others but those guys aren't coming to be an also ran in the B1G. They are going to win a championship. NU is going to have to go after the next tier of guys. Aidan Chiles is a good stop gap between Lateef and Taylor. I like the get.

Nebraska doesn’t just get their pick of the litter. The players have a choice and NU isn’t high on the pecking order.
