Just listened to that episode and I’m pretty sure he just liked the massive plus odds on the moneyline and doesn’t necessarily believe it will happen. It is a gambling-centric podcast, after all. “Moneyline sprinkles”. But he does seem to enjoy dunking on Hugh and Auburn so he can kick rocks.

This game is a perfect setup for a good (not great P4 team) to take a pretty good lower tier team for granted. How good is Northwestern ? Tulane handled them easily but barely got by S. Alabama. Other than skill, the greatest force in college football is fear and all of those players on S. Alabama will be very fearful coming to and playing Auburn. This game will tell us how well HF can get our team to play at a top level even against a tier 2 team. I would say there is a high percentage chance of an Auburn letdown. I hope to see an upbeat Auburn team because that will give us a good idea of what to expect at Oklahoma.

i wouldnt say tulane barely got by USA. USA scored two tds with 6 minutes left to make it look close.
