Contract Details for Whitt

I feel like Whitt isn't a guy interested in making 12-13 million a year. He's much more excited to see what he can do at UM with talent like he has never had. Probably wanted a bigger assistant pool and seems like he got it. Just my two cents.

Go get those incentives, Coach!

Interesting how financially weighted the Big Ten championship game is vs. CFP. I'm not sure it reflects the current state of football as the championship game doesn't seem to carry the cachet it used to. Instead, I would like to see $500K for beating OSU.

The "B1G championship game doesn't matter" talk is Buckeye fan cope. It matters to the team who wins it. It's just been a long time since that team was ohio.

I love it when people talk about my favorite team and throw around terms like "tough" and "well-coached and disciplined."

I love Harbaugh but I really like the “quiet” storm brewing. Harbaugh was a lightning rod which brought a lot of unnecessary hate to our program. It feels like Whittingham is simply respected by everyone. Obviously hard at work behind the scenes building a tough and competitive team. I look forward to the next 5 years.

Which would you pick? 1) Win the Big 10 Championship game but not make the CFP championship game - $1M incentive or 2) Lose in the CFP championship game and not make the Big 10 Championship game - $500K incentive

I’d be pretty pissed if I was only making 8 mil per year when I should be making at least 9…. /s
