I'm not sure how anyone who expects excellence could approve of the job he has done over the last five years. We went from an elite team competing for titles to a top 25 team wishing we could compete for titles again.

Well we did make it to the playoff last year. I know we didn’t play well in the game but we did make it. Most didnt. It could be WAY worse.

I don’t know if it can be recovered but I remember a similar poll around the same time as Tyler made his call. Any way to compare out of curiosity.

I don’t understand why more fans don’t get this. There are very few coaches that can consistently get to the playoff. Dabo is one. Gambling with a new coach is ignorant. Clemson will not be better after Dabo leaves. Clemson won 1 ACC championship in 23 f’n years after the last “great” Coach left. Say a prayer Dabo doesn’t listen to the “new” Clemson fans for the sake of the rest of us that know better.

People can have their opinion and say whatever they want, it’s their right as a fan. But don’t tell me Clemson is “different” or “special” because we aren’t. From what I’ve seen, we’re just like everyone else.

Nice cherry picking you think people are basing that opinion on 1 game? Gtfoh. This is a 5 year train we are on. To be fair it would have been the norm. He created expectations. No they are not the same now.

This poll will completely flip by about October 1st, 2026. I’m over drinking koolaid and believing the glass is half full. It’s leaking…you can’t gaslight me to believe the house isn’t on fire upstairs right now. We’re head for back to back 8-4 teams. Be lucky to keep our DC in the process. GT game already has a Tommy Bowden era feel to it to me; which Clemson team will we see Saturday? The one on paper I potentially see as a good team or one held back by Riley’s ego on 2nd and 5? Run the **** ball coach…..will we see the team with Cades inability to throw to blatantly open receivers? Will TJ slip on the grass on an another potential explosive play? How many critical game changing dropped passes from wide receivers? Can we stop a team on 4th and short? When will the Cole Turner project end? Will it all come together against an otherwise weak team that won’t be of help getting us in the playoffs? Then right back to unfolding against FSU and The Coots AGAIN? I’m so over it. aren’t we 3-7 versus SEC since 2020?
