My initial reaction was the same as yours; it seemed forced. I believe he's path semantics with the ultimatum given. I believe we gave him a deadline, and that's his way of denying that an ultimatum was given.

Yeahh that didn’t just leak without them having some pretty good substance!

Hey, I just reported what I saw and he said. My opinion of the appearance only. Not sure your point.

Wish he had been asked and had answered about whether his family visited Fla and/or BR yesterday? and his explanation of what exactly was their purpose for visiting?

He's an awkward dude to begin with. He seems very uncomfortable in social settings, or even interviews such as this. I know this, he's loving the attention.

Maybe it’s his way of asking us to not give up on him just yet without actually saying it. I am trying be patient and optimistic and blocking out the he said/she said BS that’s been on this site for the few days.

You said stated the ultimatum is false, which may be true. I just don’t think you can take it at face value. It’ll all be over soon enough, one way or another.

My take is, Layla said she ain’t moving to Baton Rouge and Florida is not structured enough and he’s scrambling to fix things at home. Personally, I don’t care anymore and he’s never been my favorite.

LK should go into politics before his buddy Finebaum. He's more of a politician now than a HC.

To me it was all fake and trying to do damage control. Very weird interview.

As a mom to an older teen on the spectrum I’m not sure that is an oxymoron. My kid is painfully uncomfortable in social situations but also loves attention. But my kid also experiences grandiosity. I do wonder at times about Kiffin and the spectrum. *** I only listened to the McAfee interview. But from that perspective it seemed contrived at times, forced at times and awkward at times. And none of those were mutually exclusive.

He seemed like he was trying too hard

I don't think he is leaving. I would put money on it if I could. He's realizing that if he leaves, his reputation is trashed.

I agree entirely. There are no angles where any of this doesn’t backfire if he leaves. No matter what he’s going to get raked over the coals by the media. The only scenario that would be positive for him is if he signs the extension and trolls both schools in the process then raids their rosters.
