Freeze Support

from elsewhere. Third-year Auburn football coach Hugh Freeze still has the support of powerful donors, who are convinced he is rightfully 5-1 right now and are about ready to march on the SEC office. As one said to me, "Something is rotten in Denmark."

Yeah, I don't think that's reality. Your AD is clearly laying the groundwork to distance himself from him to can him.

Just saw this also. I guess we have our answer about a coaching change.

I too am upset at SEC officials for booking 100 tee times during fall camp and giving a schizophrenic backup QB from Oklahoma a blank check

Big-money donors, those who give millions to build rosters, have more power than they have ever hard. You can't win without them. In the case of Florida and Napier, it appears those donors are threatening to walk away if a move isn't made. Auburn's situation is the opposite.

If this is from PAM, Freeze is cooked.

I think Freeze is done if he loses Saturday.

*HC, and yes. PAM is the last person to know about HCing decisions. Dude tried to argue with everyone we weren't firing Harsin until the end of the 2022 season...and then suddenly just stopped posting for a while when we did. Former AUC members here likely would remember that.

I can believe it because they are about control themselves and don’t give a damn about Auburn and dot want egg on their face because we’ve seen this with the last 3 coaching hires

That PAM is pushing so hard in this direction means he's been told to get the word out to combat another contingent trying to cut bait

I wouldn’t care if we were 6-0, I’d fire Freeze based on how shĩtty our offense is.

Guys, don't worry, since we are playing this game, I have gone back retroactively awarded us wins for all of our close losses. Freeze actually went 9-4 in year one and 8-4 last year. Also, our offense is actually good in the second half of games.

Keep losing and the crowd attendance is what will get their attention. It’s the only thing they notice. People are ready for a change. Three years of crap.

Personally, I wouldn’t fire an undefeated coach :)

Isn't PAM just a mouthpiece for certain boosters? Does anyone know who his guys are? No way YellaFella is saying that kind of BS so who could be feeding this to PAM?

Thanks for checking out this free message board preview.
