I'm told Alex Golesh will be meeting with current members of the staff starting on Monday. Evaluations and decisions will go from there.
DeMarcus Van Dyke's hire will likely have an impact on Wesley McGriff. Sources indicate McGriff may move off the field.
Jay G. and Caleb reported the other offensive hires earlier -- Co-OC Kodi Burns, Co-OC Joel Gordon, OL Tyler Hudanick, plus S&C coach George Courides.
Also offensively, sources indicate as of tonight, current WR coach Marcus Davis hasn't been notified one way or another of his status.
On DJ Durkin, he and Golesh met briefly late this afternoon and will meet again tonight.

keeping McGriff in an off the field capacity would be solid. don't mind if he has to go, but that's a big win if you can keep him around

I really hope it’s true that Auburn keeps everyone in the D staff. I’ve seen where McGriff was looking at moving off the field for a month or so.

Announcing the db coach already seems like Durk is staying.

Didn’t you just say on another thread that Golesh had not met with any current staff? Now he met with Durkin this afternoon?

Trolly said:Not necessarily. DVD is one of the brighter, up-and-coming DB coaches, so, based on the timing, he was always going to be brought with Golesh. Durkin's say will come in being able to keep some of the assistants, but it isn't his program. It's Golesh's. Full autonomy should only exist for the HC.Announcing the db coach already seems like Durk is staying.
