I get the feeling that when Gus has a tasty sandwich he is all like “this sandwich is so good, its just as good as Cam Newton!” It’s like the only positive comparison he knows how to make. Some of these players are gonna start not knowing who Cam Newton is. He played for Gus almost 15 years ago and has been out of the league for 5 years and his peak was like 10 years ago. How about all the failed projects since?

They could be close as far as talent technically. Speed, arm strength, all that stuff. Being 6’5 250 isn’t necessarily a “talent” but it’s probably the biggest reason Cam Newton was 9000x better than Castellanos lol

You know -- it's funny because I tried to do a search last night to see if he ever compared Jacurri to Cam. I couldn't find any examples of Gus making the comparison but lots of other people did especially when he was at Miami. I think basically if you're a dual threat QB who runs well at some point you might get compared to Cam Newton. And if you're Gus then literally any QB you have with a pulse is someone you're going to compare to Cam. It's really all he's got.
