Hate to be a tinfoil hat guy on Jalen Carter…

(And I know we have enough threads on it) Was there a player prop on his getting ejected tonight? We can talk about him being a punk, and it’s hard to refute that… still, he literally just walked over to their huddle, got in Dak’s face, and spit on him. It really seemed like he was trying to get himself tossed.

People with mental issues do strange things. And I'm not being mean here.

He is example 1A why team culture is so incredibly important. If you can keep him on course he’s the best in the league. If you can’t….. well….

Hit him with the hawk tuah before the game even started. Bold strategy!

I said something similar. It’s a move when the mafia has your family memeber in a hotel threating to kill them if you dont throw this game move.

Kirby and Nick, how in the fuck did they do it!?! Absolute bad ass dudes, literal head cases with more mental issues than Arkum Asylum and those 2 MEN held them in line for 3 ish years. These "goons(Agray)" get to the league, they lose their minds and go banana sandwich and we as fans wonder how CKS and Nick did it? I have an idea but I won't speak it into reality, them Dawgs is Hell!

Man even Nolan Smith is getting 15 yarders. It really Seems like the Philly stank is corrupting all of our wholesome UGA choir boys. Maybe Kirby can go visit them during our off week before they are corrupted too much. Image

I would tend to think people with mental health issues are more likely to spit on other people than people without mental health issues are. But maybe I’m just overgeneralizing.

It's a strange thing to do. People with mental issues do strange things. This is easy to follow.

Nolan was a bang bang play. Nothing with ill intent.

I 100% wondered this too. This is a conspiracy theory I could be convinced of

Not saying it was in any way appropriate, but hasn’t there since been video of Dak spitting in the direction of Philly warming up? Seems more logical that it was in response to that, if so. But let’s be honest, Philadelphia sports is a cesspool. They pride themselves on being just nasty, dirty, violent sports fans up there. Which is a shame, b/c it can be a fun city, yet you can’t even safely attend a sporting event as an opposing fan.

Jalen should’ve used better judgment, and what he did was stupid. That said, the reason Carter confronted Dak is because he spat in the direction of the Eagles.

Yep…Dak actually spat first (something he says he does regularly) and ii happened to be near some Eagles where Carter took exception after Dak included a few choice words before he returned his own spit. Basically a Spit for Spat scenario! 😅

Jalen is an idiot (albeit a very good idiot), and Dak is just a loser.

I can actually respect that response from Dak... He didn't entirely fess up 100% (apparently spit twice) but he admitted to spitting himself in the Eagles direction and you can see him do it again when Carter starting saying something to him... Who knows how genuine he was actually being there? But he did seem sympathetic to the fact that Carter was thrown out for the whole game while also admitting that it was a beneficial thing for them that they then changed their game plan to take advantage of. I don't follow the NFL that closely, so for all I know Dak is a psycho crybaby that everyone hates... or maybe he is one of the more respected players in the league. I really have no idea. Just judging his response there.

Yeah, do doubt should have used better judgement. Ya know, its funny, I went to bed last night and the story was that Jalen was a dirt bag that just decided to walk over and spit on an opposing player for no reason other than he's a bad excuse for a human being. Now, I wake up and it appears he was responding to the act of an opposing player.... Terrible judgment, yes. But this is more about a guy needing to exercise better judgement and keep his overly aggressive temper in check. Thats still an issue but not quite the same or as bad as what the story was initially last night.

It made no sense in the moment. It was a complete wtf situation, and it is nuts that NBC had no clue the entire broadcast. Stunned that a sideline reporter didn’t have an explanation shortly thereafter.

Nah, he's just similar to Vontaze Burfict that played for the Bengals years ago, except far more talented of an athlete. When you are elite as a skill level is concerned, a lot of things get glossed over and minimized b/c you're so good. He's got a max of another 7-8 yrs before no one will put up with it and get cut.

Has he had any other issues in the league? Obviously had the whole racing deal w/ Willock before he went to the league but seems to have been on his best behavior since then up until this spitting incident. Also don’t really think the spitting incident was as big of a deal as others are making it out to be.

If it takes 10 years in the league to get tired of him then I would say that was a pretty successful career, wouldn't you? Jalen is the most impactful DT and possibly defensive player in the league and is a problem for opposing offenses. If he were cut tomorrow 95% of the league would pick him up the next day and smile while doing it. He is not nearly the problem in the locker room that Ndamokung Suh (I am not looking up how to spell that word salad) was and he had a very long career.
