Whenever you have to address it after each game it’s time to move on. Right or wrong.

His fate was sealed when the kick was made on Saturday. That schedule is impossible..

Tricky spot for the Gators. The sooner they fire him the sooner the guys on their roster can start looking at their options past this season. If Lagway gets swooped up that place will crumble talent wise.

From talking to a couple of UF fans. There is one that wants him gone, and another that wants to keep him but they have got to hire someone to call plays and run the Offense. I think I’m along the lines of Napier giving up play calling duties and hiring an OC. Because I think he’s a good dude and a great recruiter. But I understand the other side. That schedule is absolutely insane. They have been absolutely screwed the past 2 years.

I don't know that I say it sealed his fate but it certainly made it that much more unlikely in my mind that he lasts to the end of the year. I think what happens over the next 3 weekends will determine what move Florida makes. If they enter the Texas home game at 1-3 and lose that sucker to move to 1-4, then I would assume he is fired on the spot. Now, if they can find a way to remain close to .500 then I believe you'll see Napier last to the end of the season. The issue that Florida has is that many want the AD out as well and I don't know enough about UF to know whether their president is active enough in athletics to make or sign off on an immediate change on either position.

They were saying at the beginning of the season that he was going to flip Womack when Hugh gets fired.

Interesting takes from media on this compared to how they view CHF and Auburn.... Auburn had to play uga, bama, LSU and Texas aTm on a yearly basis. I get the schedule is tough but I would have gladly traded with anyone in the country.

People have been talking about Lagway like he’s Johnny Manziel and I do not get it

They should look to the greater good and give us their best players in the portal so that one of us can beat the dog crap out of Georgia. It ain’t going to be swamp Billy, they just need to face facts.

True. I more meant that because the schedule was so tough, he couldn’t afford losing the “winnable” games. He possibly could have received some grace for losing 5-6 games with this schedule but you can’t lose to USF at home. The team morale has to be horrible right now, I can’t imagine they pull off any upsets soon. Who knows though..

Stewart Mandel should be a politician. I read his comments 3 times and I still can’t figure out whether he’s supporting Napier or advocating him getting fired. He’s seemingly blaming a “small minority” of loud fans who are beating the firing drum but then says “I can’t blame anyone for putting Napier on the hot seat.” WTF does this all even mean? Whatever, I’m just hoping to enjoy the popcorn and then take LJ McCray.

Let’s hope he finishes this 4 games stretch 2-2 so we can keep Florida with a mediocre at best coach
