He is rumored to be hunted by Penn State. Will likely not go there, but a recent article indicates he is on their short list cause he can win big games.

People say that and Ryan Walters won 4 games with those players. Many of them were highly sought transfers after he was fired as well.

I don’t think any coach will be successful here right now. We need the university to start supporting the athletic department. also need to improve the north endzone. Our stadium is bottom tier in P5.

He did, both times he faced them. Look, I like what Jeff Brohm did at Purdue overall, but you could tell that he was losing interest, particularly in recruiting, during the final couple of years. Plus, there's no way he's leaving Louisville for Purdue.

Brohm screwed the football program on his way out. We were setup for failure before walters even got the keys but he drove us straight off a cliff. Worst coach to hire at that exact moment. Odom tried to rebuild this thing from scratch. Next year we’ll have a foundation for him to keep building off of. We’ll be fine.

Brohm would have had some bad years if he stayed. His recruiting fell off a cliff, but he could have had a foot out the door which would explain it. Of course that was before unlimited yearly transfers so who knows. All things considered I would have preferred he stayed too.

The incompetent Ryan Walters won 4 games in year 1, and we had a close home loss to Fresno St and lost at home to a bad Syracuse team. Are you suggesting a competent head coach couldn't have got us to 6 wins the first year after Brohm left? Or do you believe Walters maximized the win total in year 1 given the "terrible" situation he inherited from Brohm?
