When is the last time Ole Miss won the SEC? It was 1963 ... and they're not winning another one. Too many bigger programs in this league that they can't leapfrog. That's why Lane would love to get out of there. It's a nowhere job that you're only going to do so much at. In fact, he's probably topped out there. I seriously doubt they will beat LSU. They won't beat Georgia in Athens ... especially after what happened last year in Oxford. And I really don't see them winning at Oklahoma either. The rest of their games could very well go in the win column. But never discount the Egg Bowl as being a loss. The records don't matter in that one. Bottom line, Ole Miss is Ole Miss. They are one of about 4 or 5 teams in the league that have no prayer of ever winning an SEC title.

That would be a quality win, but lsu IMO is kind of overrated. That hard fought win over clempsum looks a lot less impressive after syracuse had their way with them.

I hope LSU beats Lane so badly he needs three coeds to ease his pain.
