If we drop 4 straight, it’s gotta be over with Hew

Now… Auburn has to not be cheap for once and actually pull a proven winner like Drink, Key, maybe the Tulane coach. Hew was appealing bc of his recruiting and his dollar general price tag. You go cheap, you get a guy who doesn’t pay attention to details like special teams. Have we had a return under Hew that didn’t get a flag? Great job, John Cohen!

We had a KO return for a TD against Baylor but I get your point. We have a serious problems on STs and offense.

What if it is five straight? I don’t expect that, but our next four are WINNABLE-LOOOZABLE. Maybe our next six. No gimmes remain other than Mercer.

if hugh learned anything yesterday we can win this week. I believe he may be like Gus though having few levers. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Arnold struggle next week again in the same way holding the ball and not having a quick option to throw to.

Losing Hew is not what’s best for Auburn! He is rebuilding this program.

Year 15 will be his year. I don't want Hugh fired, but he's proving despite stacking classes his coaching situational awareness is not great.

We’ll be 3-4 heading to Arkansas and nothing will happen

What about if/after we lose to Arkansas? Despite a propensity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, Arky is pretty real decent on offense.

An Arkansas loss maybe gets him fired which is why we won’t lose that game. Cmon Blue

Hew isn’t able to do more with less or more with More.

He is rebuilding this program into the ground, just with better talent. Even talent can’t fix coaching deficiencies.

I agree with everything you said except the shot at Cohen. I don't think he had anything to do with hiring Hugh. I'm pretty sure that hire was forced upon him. JMO

Normally I would say let’s see how the season plays out but we are making the same bonehead mistakes we were day one under Hew. Get me Corch Brent Key

The problem is that if they’re WINNABLE-LOOOZABLE, then you can’t lose all 4 as a HC. Because the other side of that coin is WINNABLE, which means you need to win some

Why did no other program pursue Hugh, IYO?

I’m almost convinced that if we’d been able to hire Lane instead, we’d somehow still be going thru major growing pains. It’s the Auburn way.

Because he belongs at a place like liberty if he wants to be a head corch and not a recruiting coordinator. And he’s more focused on being a grandpa, acc elder, golfer, etc. than building a football program. Nothing wrong with that, just doesn’t work as an SEC head corch.

I’m praying that doesn’t happen and we get our issues worked out. We all keep talking about A&M, uga, and bama like that’s it left on the schedule. Mizz looks legit, Arkansas can score the football, and while pavia is at Vandy I’m not betting against them. These games plus Kentucky will determine whether Hugh makes it another year or not.

I want a guy like Key. Big game winner. Wins with less under horrific restrictions. Physical.
