I’ll just say it…

Just re-watched the OU-Michigan game, again. If Hugh Freeze cannot put a better product on the field than what UM did, he better start packing. I will be shocked if AU doesn’t win by double digits. OU, contrary to what most have said on here, was terrible in all facets of the game. QB threw interceptions and should have had more. Special teams had turnovers. Defense was one dimensional and lucky they were playing a 2nd game true freshman, at home, etc, etc. They are not a polished team as some on here have portrayed. Do they have a few good players, sure, but so does EVERY team in this league. I’ll say AU 27-17. WDE.

Is it possible to have non delusional football discourse on this board? We're a touchdown underdog yet, "I will be shocked if AU doesn’t win by double digits. " We haven't played anyone close to the caliber of Oklahoma and it's an away game in a hostile environment. Pump the brakes. It should be a great game, but expecting a blow out is delusional. I think we have what it takes to win, but let's be real folks

We were 1.5 points favorites vs Baylor at kickoff, beat them by 14...

And Norman is a far more hostile environment and has a better football team. Anyone expecting a blow out is delusional. Is it possible? Sure, but anyone expecting one is hard to take seriously.

It’s not an away game for the most important player on our team, it’s home. You can go watch the same game I did. Prove me wrong. I haven’t said anything that’s not verifiable. You have the right to your opinion, of course.

No, no I don’t. I’m as critical as anyone. I just don’t see it in reality when I watch both teams on the field. I don’t think OU is the overall team AU is right now. It’s just my opinion. I may be wrong but I don’t think so.

I've got to see Arnold throw it against a good defense and use our weapons at Wide Out. If I see that win or lose, I think AU is in good in shape. The defense is a work in progress and will get better in the back half of the season IMO. Arnold may play and well and AU still loses in a close one (this is my prediction actually).

At least you present it as an opinion and that you could be wrong instead of fact like our resident dumbass @ricedp105

I just rewatched this game as well. What makes you say the OU defense is one dimensional? I thought they were pretty good. I think we should be able to run on them due to our oline and scheme. I do worry that JA will take some sacks if he doesn't get rid of the ball quickly.

I'm just not impressed by OU, could be entirely wrong, I have been before and will be again, but I don't see many upgrades on offense from a year ago...and I think we'll be able to expose that with this defense, especially our front 7. Mateer and Arbuckle have never faced a defense with our speed or talent in their careers, much less an elite DC in DJ Durkin. Their biggest "advantage" is playing at home, and we're starting a QB that's been with Venables the previous two seasons and very familiar with their defense/personnel.
Yawn....btw I predicted 31-21 AU, not much different than the OP. You're not very good at this. Stick to your stolen 5-7 schtick.

What's your point exactly? Fact, OU won more games with Arnold than without him....

Our QB now is literally the reason they blew chunks at home vs UTk and that's why you're saying Norman isn't hostile 😂 he had 3 turnovers

No, I present facts as facts and have done a lot of that the past week for this matchup. You just can't use your brain or go away from the 5-7 schtick that you stole.
