INTEL — ITF, PART II: Michigan football coaching search, Friday updates … heating up ...

Thanks to the team today (E.J., Anthony, Clay, Ethan) for helping with this one and the articles. It's getting exciting ... we do believe from several sources the Dillingham mutual interest is very real. Our opinion — they wait on DeBoer as long as they can and as long as he's still interested, but if Dillingham is your "backup" ... I think they're at least considering going that direction. And the breadcrumbs we picked up today (again, thanks to the staff here) are exciting. As I added to the article: But again, this is just starting. The search firm is doing its job, other candidates can and will likely emerge, and it's all about getting the right guy. I think I speak for all of us when I say I’d rather they hire Dillingham today than wait a week to see if DeBoer wants it

I just don't know how you wait a week for DeBoer and give ASU time to get an extension around for Dillingham

nah if deboer wants the job he needs to leave now and i am not joking, it sucks and is an awful sitaution like lane but its 100% the case

My only concern is that waiting on DeBoer gives ASU the time they need to fire the NIL cannons and get him more than he was originally expecting. Is there reason to be concerned that waiting this out actually causes you to lose Dillingham?
