They had all the sympathy from the college football world for about an hour. People acknowledged while the outcome was correct, the committee handled it in the worst way possible. Then they started acting like petulant children, ala FSU in 2023. I think the vast majority of college football is sick of ND thinking they deserve special treatment. It is your choice to be independent, if you find the consequences of that action unacceptable, join a conference. You are in the unique position of picking whatever one you want. No one would say no. Otherwise, stfu. 1988 was a long time ago.

If you don't wanta conference to campaign against you, to ahead and join a conference. If withdraw from the football scheduling, the rest of the sports will get kicked out of the ACC which will hurt ND more. Big 10 isn't going to accept the other sports without football joining in full, so right now this is only talk.

A few other points on this The ACC threw ND a bone during the COVID season and let them join the ACC for one year. ND then said wham bam thank you ma’am and said we’re out bitches. The LSU / Vandy game had higher neilsen ratings on 10/18 than the USC/ ND game. The Irish brand isn’t the all mighty brand of the 1950’s anymore .. nobody is sweating them anymore

This is a 1000% right. Blows my mind that they are spending all this time crapping on the ACC and Miami. I honestly think ND should be in, although their BS over the last day makes it unpleasant for me to admit it. Bama is a 3 loss team, who has looked underwhelming (and that is generous) over the last month. They lost to FSU convincingly. They should be outraged about BAMA and the SEC, but instead are upset that the ACC Commissioner stood up for a full football member over their greedy, whiny asses.

ND not playin in a bowl game doesn't hurt da ACC...dey don't revenue share with ACC anyways...it hurts ESPN...ND not playin ACC schedule hurts ESPN, cause ACC is a dead conference walkin
