Is Derrick Henry the best RB in the history of football?

Serious question. From Pop Warner, to Jr High, to High School, to College, to NFL, he has been the best. Not one of the best, THE best. He’s 6’3” 245 and still leaves DB’s in the dust and absolutely dominates every single team he plays and does best on the biggest stages. Where does he rank on the all-time list? I think he’s currently a Top-5 RB in the entire history of football and will easily be Top-3 if not the best ever once his career is over.

Yes, next question fr though, at the end of his career he will firmly be in the GOAT convo. Has a shot at passing Emmitt for all the stat leads

I'm still partial to Walter Payton and Barry Sanders but King Henry is definitely in the conversation.

If the Titans would’ve used him correctly in his early years this wouldn’t be up for discussion imo

He and Barry are close. Two totally different backs. Barry did have to run behind a bunch of trash cans for much of his career though.

He’s needs a ring to silence the last of his skeptics. He is the goat in my eyes.

I love Barry Sanders but Henry is just as unique as Barry. Those two are the ones I enjoyed watching the most. Marshall Faulk is up there too. Will be easier to judge when his career is over. Which I hope is a long time from now.

Someone needs to chart the rushing yards. High school + College + NFL

Henry is the best to do it. Argue with a wall.

Yes. That's why he's the King! It's good to be the King . . Henry! And he's one of our own! . . Now only if Kiffin would've kept running him around the left end against OSu! But I digress

All good ones. Everyone over 50 instantly goes to Brown. Obviously great. Dickerson, Sweetness, Barry, even LT for a short time, but not my all time top group.

I wish I had seen more of Jim Brown and OJ Simpson. Dickerson and Payton were some of my earliest memories. I'm not a Bears fan but never forgave Ditka for not getting him into the end zone in the super bowl. LT too. All great.

He's like 19th all time on the NFL rushing list. No. And there's more to the conversation than rushing yards. I get it. But he needs to ascend a little higher. And even if he does, I'd want Barry Sanders.

HOF’er, yes. Best ever, no. Sanders and Payton ahead. Hard not to have Jim Brown ahead too. He is in the team photo for sure.
