No, and I would have loved to see UNLV play it last night.

Absolutely not, nothing close. Even non-CFB fans know what school that song belongs to

Negative on that. Rocky Top is significantly more popular. Some fans may recognize Neck in specific regions or at certain schools but it does not have the same national impact or cultural prominence as Rocky Top. It lacks the widespread recognition within college football imo.

Michigan fans would say that cuck song they play at the end of the third. 😂😂

"On Wisconsin" is up there too but I think The Victors (MI) and the Notre Dame Victory March are both more recognizable coast to coast than Rocky Top. Those three have all been around for well over a hundred years. Rocky Top, the best, has only been played by the Pride since 1972.

Some of us are college football fanatics. We recognize some of the fight songs of other schools are historic and add relevance to the game. We also know what schools those songs go to. But i do think even casual fans associate Rocky Top with Tennessee football. I am not sure there are many if any other songs that are that universally associated with school by everyone.

It would be cool to experience ';Jump Around' at a Wisconsin game

I love Neck but for CFB fans I think you’re off by a bit here. Rocky Top is extremely well known in the college football world by all. It’s prob the most well known tradition of the program. There’s very few programs that might have more well known chants/songs. FSU war chant, Hail to the Victors, ND victory march…doesn’t get much more well known. It’s extremely unique

None compares to Rocky Top but the “Eyes of Texas” is the closest to it.

Remember when Minnesota beat Bama in the Music City Bowl and their band played Rocky Top? That was awesome.

This is probably the closest yet. The only thing is most people outside of those fanbases don't associate Hang On Sloopy with Ohio State or Country Roads with WVU. When most people hear Rocky Top these days (unless they clog for a hobby), they relate it to the University of Tennessee.
