Just about everything that I'm reading from fans is negative towards Team and Coaches

Being a Bama fan is torture for some folks. I'd find another hobby if it made me so angry/sad

We got back into natty-or-bust mode after the game 1 hiccup. When this team busts -whether that assessment is fair or not- the sky is falling. I personally have enjoyed the vast majority of this season, but would struggle not to feel a bit let down if we crap the bed in Norman.

It's perfectly fine and normal to feel sad and let down when we are out. Only 1 team wins it all every year, so just about every team will end the season on a down note. The difference is feeling disappointed and realizing you had a great overall season vs. losing your mind and wanting to throw all the starters into the portal and fire all the coaches.

Maybe we can pay for another membership to this site, but instead of using it for posting, we can instead use it to stop other posters from being able to make threads and posts.

Gotta be happy with where we are today post Saban but at the same time I think there are valid reasons for concern and some unsteadiness. Saban teams were struggling his final 2-3 years as well. OL has been a weakness for 5 years now somebody make it make sense.

Agreed. The reality is there are a lot of people who place entirely too much self worth into their favorite sports teams. If the season ends as a perceived failure, these people feel like the players and coaches have personally wronged them. It's pretty sad lol.

As a Life long Alabama fan and a realistic College football fan, and given the Saban experience. It is a kick in the gut when you sit there and witness the FSU meltdown and the near complete domination by Georgia. It is as if Bama has lost its edge physicality we are so used to. DeBoer needs to really evaluate his coaching staff at seasons end. Let ‘s go beat OU and see where the chips fall.

No flame OP. But I don’t understand these Dr Phil type posts. I mean you know the issue if you read the board amirite 😂 If not here it is. The issue is we are not winning every game and we don’t look like the Alabama team everyone once feared. That scares the shat outta die hard fans.

We didn’t win every game under Saban either. Of his 6 title winning teams, only 2 went undefeated. The point of his post is that if you love football, you should enjoy watching football. If you only love football because your team wins championships and you can’t enjoy it otherwise, then you don’t really love football. You just love the validation of having your favorite team win.

Unfortunately only thing that would break this cycle is to go through 2 or 3 years where we Suck! like Shuls days I remember alot of young one's dont that would humble some folks down to the point we appreciate again

Yeah, Ryan Grubb just doesn't want to win, so what he's doing is he's being mean to Jaeden Roberts in order to sabotage our offense. Yep, that is exactly what's going on.

I go back to pre-season. If someone had told me we played for an SEC championship and made the playoff, I’d have taken it in a second.

It’s as bad I’ve seen it on the board in 20yrs. Some of it is warranted but OP is right with the week-to-week love and criticism. Message boards bro. Love it or leave it.

Its not we are losing it is how we look,we can’t run the ball can’t block and to be honest half the time the quarterback looks like he is ready to cry.We just expect Alabama to look better than what we have seen and want to look like a good football team some people are fine with a team just because they are Alabama and some want Alabama to look like a good football team

Saban said it years ago. Some fans are just bad fans. They are negative, they complain, they don’t do anything to support or bring positive value to the program. They stop being supporters and become haters. That portion of our fan base is very vocal right now.
