Likely going to be a fired defensive coordinator two years in a row. Rough for the resume

Idk why but this makes me a little sad. I was kinda tired of his perennial "top 5 in the Big 12" defense but he was a good dude who players really liked. For some reason I was kinda hoping he would stick around.

Not sure of the fit at Baylor for Klandy unless Aranda lets Klandy runs it the way he wants to.

I feel the same. Seems like a great guy on all accounts. He just loves sending the house every third down, giving up game-winning drives like free ice cream in the park, and third and 15+ like candy at Halloween. I am excited for the potential to see halftime adjustments become a thing again.

Good for him. Klanderman seemed like a good dude, and appreciate what he did for KSU, but kinda excited to see new blood on the defensive side too.

Might be as simple as getting experience with different systems for his next job.

Little scary right now with the only other DC candidate we've discussed (Peterson) having 1 year of DC experience at New Mexico. Nothing else known on position coaches. Especially with a HC with an offensive background. Gonna have to remain patient.
