Klatt leaves Oklahoma out of his Top 10...

I mean... wow... this is laughably bad... https://www.on3.com/news/college-football-rankings-joel-klatt-shakes-up-top-10-with-big-changes-at-top/ If you don't want to click... 1. tOSU 2. Oregon 3. Miami 4. A&M 5. Texas 6. Ole Miss 7. Indiana 8. Bama 9. Penn St 10. Georgia Like... wtf... having Texas, Indiana, Penn St above us?? I can even understand the argument for Georgia or Bama - they've both looked really good even w/ their L... but Texas has looked like dogshit, and Indiana has 1 quality win. Penn St is overrated as usual. It's just laughable. I know it doesn't mean much... but his list is baaaaaaaaaaad.

He’s not stupid, nothing drives clicks and engagement more than OU Twitter, straight from the Cowherd playbook.

It’s Joel Klatt his top 10 is as useful as Cowherds. It’s still bad though

He probably thinks the Mateer injury factors into his current standings

I’m confident this isn’t Klatt’s actual opinion lol.

Was going to say this. Until I see evidence to suggest otherwise, I wouldn’t be inclined to believe we’re a top ten team without Mateer.

What does it matter no ranking ever matter but the ones at the end. Half the people on here watch the game and think this team the worst team ever when they playing bad or losing.

He was super pro-OU when we were in the Big 12. I was a fool then and thought he was objective. Reality is that he was simply catering to his audience. He is a schill for whatever league he is calling. Texas being 5 is the biggest indicator of this. It is the ONLY "good" non-conference win that the B1G has this year. He NEEDS them to be good to anchor any other positive ranking on the B1G. Either acknowledge who he is and take everything he says about CFB with a mountain sized grain of salt OR just simply ignore him.

If you listen to him he says they would be in his top 10 if Mateer wasn't hurt. He is factoring that uncertainty in. Says mateer is just a very important part of the team. Hard to argue imo.

Is it that bad? Texas' ranking is suspect but they were the #1 preseason and lost to #1 now. Everyone up there has beaten each other. The only team with a loss that isn't good is Bama and thats only because FSU lost to Virginia last week. Our wins are #20 Michigan and unranked Auburn. I'm not worried about rankings and more worried about winning games.

Since we left the big 12, he has turned into a scorned ex lover. Almost anything he says is negative.

Just a bad way to rank teams. You rank them based in their body of work thus far. Who is to say Hawkins isn’t just as good as Mateer? We’ve seen backups this year come in and light teams up. Even if you think Mateer being out is a factor, you still can’t put them below teams like Texas and Penn State. Not to mention I wouldn’t be surprised if he had those teams higher than OU even if Mateer isn’t injured

In his "Contender" / "Pretender" segment this week on IG, he labeled OU as a Pretender because of the Mateer injury. I think that has changed a ton of outsider's view on our boys. I also think Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Missouri all looking better than anticipated is probably making people leery of our 7-game gauntlet to finish the season. IMO? Keep Sleepin'!! The more the media downplays, the better..."rat poison"!!

Who gives a shit? If we keep handling business, we’ll be in the only ranking that matters, the CFP committee’s.

I don't have a problem with his picks. All ten of those teams have a healthy QB and are able to consistently run the ball when needed.

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday without OU fans being outraged about something they don’t agree with no matter how irrelevant it is or if they don’t even understand the reasoning behind it.
