Lets just say, Bama loses

and we get KDB, does Bama go after Dabo or Dillingham? What if they win, does Brett Venebles come into play?

They'd take a massive swing to try to lure him back This carousel may never end haha I remember tracking down the ripple effect of even Mo Linguist leaving Michigan for Buffalo and what that did to the assistant coaching carousel lol. It's funny how you don't even realize all the dominos that keep falling from moves like this

Man, a lot of respect here for Dillingham. I think he's a good coach, but certainly still unproven.

The choices really aren't great. I'm not sure Dillingham would want that job. They'd probably go after Dabo or try to convince Saban to come back to the post-NIL world.

I'd love to see Alabama lose. Not only would it create an opportunity for the Wolverines to talk to Lalen DeBoer, but it would mean Alabama lost. I like Alabama losses.

your two Xs and Os guys on here have said he's their #1 . he's more of a risk but I think based on the crazy expectations from everyone it makes sense most fans want to go with the ultimate high ceiling candidate .

It’s the unknown that’s so intriguing about him for me at least. He’s got character, he’s got fire in his gut, he’s had good OC experience, so his ceiling with funds and a bunch of talent on the roster could be phenomenal. I just don’t think he’s going to get worse w everything that Michigan has to offer. If Sherrone can go 9 - 3 with this offense, then Dillingham certainly can.

for me , I think about the current roster and the style of play of each coach . I could see Dillingham making the best use of Bryce , Marshall / Haynes / Hiter , Marsh + 1 . If it's Deboer or Fisch I assume you might lose the running back room . With how good our rushing attack was this year, and the young lineman and RBs in the fold - you wish you could build off of that and Dillingham is the obvious best option to do that .

Dillingham kinda reminds me of young Kirby.

Bama will not hire Kiffin. I could see Dabo answering the call from “Mama” but she already reached out to Kenny D.

They wouldn’t have to go after Dabo. Dude would be begging for it.

Would he be happy? Word is he is a hot name in the NFL for a HC..........much like Minter. Some coaches are better suited for College though. Especially now with NIL and Portal concerns some coaches are now turned off by the college game too.

I would love to see that. I wouldn't be that surprised if Lane immediately left LSU for Bama. :ROFLMAO: I want to think that he wouldn't do it but it's Lane so anything is possible.

Agree for sure about the RB room and the Underwood/Marsh connection under Dillingham. Could be elite.
