They aren’t looking great again tonight vs MSU. Will Altman be back next year? Is this just a one off, or has Dana lost his magic?

He lost it. We need someone who can consistently recruit highschool. Altman gets a decent class once every 3-4 years

They should ask him to step down gracefully at the end of the season. It’s time

They were holding their own up until about 5-7min ago... but it's pretty bad basketball

He's a legend and I'll never forget what he's done for this program but it's time. He lost his fastball

He’ll be back next year but he’s pretty much cooked at this point. Just not a good fit for the current climate

Dana should have retired last year. It’s been stale since 2021!

Football is taking all the NIL. We made and won a game in the tourney last year. And also won a conference tourney in 2024. Spent all the money on the two guys sitting on the bench with injuries. It’s not a Dana problem.

The number one player in the nation is looking at Oregon. Not too exciting. Even if he opts for the Ducks, he'll get injured right away, won't buy into Dana's system or he'll just be making a pit stop in Eugene and go through the motions while having fun. Altman is a legendary HOF'er, but the players, the game and everything about Power 4 basketball has changed ...and not to his liking. Don't do this to yourself while your legacy is still great. You owe it to yourself, the program and the fans to step down gracefully.

I really do think it’s time just like I said above, but Rob Mullens better have a plan. You better have a massive bump in NIL if you want to get a good HC and be competitive and I’m not sure the athletic department is committed to going all out for basketball, not that I really blame them.

Ariza was a great get for the 2026 class but more were needed. I don't know enough about the NIL numbers Dana is working with, so the transfer class that he brought in for this year might be the result of shopping at the dollar store, but from the way most of these guys have played so far, it also looks like poor scouting/evaluation. The injury setbacks with the three guys expected to carry the team isn't his fault, though, so I won't be shocked if Dana gets another year from Rob if he wants it.Football is taking all the NIL.
