…For advocating for (1) an actual conference member, who (2) beat ND? How could this possibly be perceived as a slight?

The ACC should drop ND scheduling in football and cancel their partial membership in all other sports. I'm tired of ND's arrogance.

Great question. Could ACC schools "just say no" to scheduling ND?

Join the conference fully and maybe the ACC would have your back. That's a thought

I can’t wait to ge them out of the ACC. Who would want these cry babies in their league? Going scorched earth on a conference for speaking common sense logic?
I assume their next step / only option is B10 scheduling agreement. Not sure why B10 would degrade themselves to that bullshit, bht nothing surprises me anymore.
Good riddance

If they joined the conference as a full time member as a result of this whole situation, what would that do to the longer term viability of the ACC? If we kick them out, they'll end up landing in one of the power conferences which I would think would just hurt the ACC's standing more vs. the others.

I sincerely hope this is the downfall of Notre Dame. I want to see this backfire so badly that they never recover.

I get why Notre Dame is upset at the committee -- what is the point of having CFB rankings every week when the last week they get magically jumped by Miami?
That said, they are being delusional thinking the ACC shouldn't campaign for one of their own football playing conference members over ND. ND doesn't share any playoff money with the ACC, it's simple math.
Notre Dame doesn't have a hand here IMO. If they want to terminate the ACC partnership, go for it. With conferences going to 9 games, good luck to them finding a quality enough schedule to make the playoffs.

Bama should’ve gotten the boot before Miami or ND. But fuck ND!Time to trigger the out clause on the scheduling agreement with ND.

I remember GT students throwing dead fish on the ND sidelines in the early 80s. Hated them the. And hate them now. Kick em out and let them play G5 schools and see what happens. Holier than thou pricks.

being mad at the conference for propping up and lobbying for its fulltime member over a partial member who refuses to join a conference. Ooo and that conference threw you a bone so you could have a season in 2020

My guess is that Bevacqua could be in trouble holding on to his AD job once this settles down a bit and cooler heads prevail. Bevacqua has done an unnecessary amount of damage by going scorched earth against the ACC, the CFB committee, and the bowl system.I get why Notre Dame is upset at the committee -- what is the point of having CFB rankings every week when the last week they get magically jumped by Miami?
