ND: Anyone else feeling a Missouri upset today?

I'm taking Mizzou +3.5. Reasons being...
  • Bama doesn't defend the run like they historically have and here comes a star in Ahmad Hardy right at them.
  • Noon kickoff.
  • Mizzou had a bye week last week and I believe UMass the week before. That's 2 weeks to prepare for Bama.
  • Bama coming off back to back battles vs. Dawgs and Vandy.

Uh, no. Mizzou always starts fast and then falters when they play bulk of SEC schedule. Fools Gold every year

I think Missouri has a good chance to win, Bamas rush defense is garbage. I think it will come down to Missouris ability to defend the pass.

Went 7-1 vs. the spread last 8 games of 2024 season. Went 6-1 vs. the spread last 7 games of 2023 season.

I could see it. Run the ball well and get to the QB. Recipe to beat Alabama.

I've already taken the +3.5. Contemplating the moneyline.

He's been fantastic. There are several very good RBs that have transferred from smaller schools this year. Bothwell from Miss St. is a beast as well.

While I always enjoy seeing Bama lose… I think they win and pull away in the second half.

If they can run the ball and keep it out of Simpson’s hands I can see them pulling the upset. But Bama is the luckiest team in the world, so I doubt it happens.

I think pretty much anyone in the SEC (except UGA) is capable of beating bama on any given Saturday. bama is not even close to what they used to be. Their mystique is completely gone, except in Kirby's mind.

I am leaning towards them winning for the same reasons.

The real question is will Bama get called for holding or will they play the perfect game like they do in Atlanta or Athens every time we play them?

These are the types of games that people call for an upset and then Bama wins by 17. But I would love to be completely wrong.

No. Actually, what I’m feeling is a beat down by Bama - by 10+ pts

You mean back in the Saban days. Bama lost 4 last year. (@Vandy, @TN, @OU, playoff game...hmmm, all away from home)

Plus Bama has Tennessee next week. Definitely a trap game for the tide. Took Missouri and the points myself. If Alabama wins big they're good.
