Ole Miss is crooked

Wow just wow. Reading that Dabo has strong evidence that Pete Golding and Trinidad Chambliss were calling and texting a recent Clemson transfer while he was attending class. Eventually doubled his NIL to $2M and he transferred to Ole Miss this week. Dabo is a snitch but justifiable with this extreme misbehavior. Hope NCAA punishes the Rebels.

So Kevan Lacey isn’t the only one they tampered with?

I remember in the early 2000's USC lost the ability to give out scholarships for a year or two because they gave Reggie Bush a car or something of that nature. Hope Ole Miss gets the same treatment.

I remember something about that. Didn’t he get an apartment and money too?

Yes this is going on but ncca is a powerless organization. Most kids have agents and that who is contacted making it somewhat legal ( but unethical)… money money is name of game including coaches.

This is such a blatant and public violation I could see the NCAA impose some sort of penalty. Poor Dabo still can’t play the portal.

Money for coaches has nothing to do g to do with ruining college sports. Never understood the argument that because coaches get paid college athletes get paid. I mean…high school Coaches get paid and athletes don’t. Club coaches get paid and athletes don’t. Players are students…it at least at one time they were supposed to be.

Part of what I find interesting with this specific case is Ole Miss was messaging directly with the player, to the point he made a decision without his agent knowing. Here's a full video with Dabo laying out the timeline. I think it's worth watching the full thing.

Yeah something like that. I know the punishment for the program was severe. Thats how they should come down here.

Yep! There are no enforceable rules. Ole Miss, Miami, Texas Tech…….you either do what you have to or you get left behind. Players have been very successful suing when decisions don’t go their way.

Agreed, but I think there is some change in the air--this will help get momentum for the CSC and participation rights agreements. It needs to happen--lets see if it does. Unlike the over 5 wins for Mizzou football next year that you didn't respond, I am not going to wager on this one!!
