Pat Kelsey calls out Louisville fans

Attendance is still a massive issue over there for those not familiar. It's an even bigger deal in the rev-share era. They are having huge problems getting people to come to games.

That's great.....and hilarious.

Louisville's biggest non-Kentucky crowd this season was announced as 7,000 short of capacity. Always safe to assume those numbers are 2-3K short. They are having major problems getting people to games.

I know we give the blue hairs a hard time, but at least they show up. The Yum Center being too big for their fan base doesn't help either.

I’m curious as to what the reasoning is to that. They have an exciting team and they’ve been not great for awhile. You would think they would be chomping at the bit to get into that arena

70% full to watch the best team they've had in a decade. Feels like there is less and less diehard Cards fans every year. Not sure why that is.

The cards fan are major loud mouths but they’re certainly aren’t a lot of them. Secondary team in the state for a reason.

A couple things. They’ve been conditioned to not go since COVID hit. Also getting into the Yum! Center isn’t easy. I paid $30 for parking in a public lot. Traffic for big games getting into downtown can be a nightmare. Leaving is even worse.

they build their stadium capacities to have more than UK does just to be able to say they have it. They have never been able to fill it unless its the biggest of games or UK games.

Actually,it would be easier to hire Pearl now than then ,imo.

No fanbase makes more excuses to justify not going to games
