Very odd for Franklin to say that when he always uses the "long term injury" language. Wonder why the change here?

Sad for the kid. He’ll heal and still have a chance to make an NFL roster. Still not sure how much of this disaster is his fault.

That’s terrible for him. We can all be critics but this kid has played his heart out and represented Penn State well for 4 years.

wow. my heart goes out to him. crappy season and now this. probably went from 2nd rounder last year to undrafted. NIL really sucks. He took a shot and lost but this NIL culture just sucks.

Incredibly sad situation for Drew. Feel for him. Hard to imagine the disappointment of where he thought he'd be to where he is now. Gotta be overwhelming.

Brutal way for it to end for Drew. Can’t imagine, for better or worse, him and the team playing like this for 6 weeks and then your college career ending. Heartbreaking for him.

Hate it for him really - the way he’s played his career is over - hope he’s invested his NIL because there won’t be many if any NFL paychecks - seems like a good Company Man as he always said the right thing - everything you want in a QB minus the ability
