I agree with GT at 12 or 13. Texas in top 20 is stupid. Penn State being ranked is criminal.

The coaches don’t vote anyways it’s always a staffer. I’m sure the AP will be just as bad. At this point the narrative is let’s get 4-5 teams each from Big and Sec and then 1 for Acc and Big 12 and G5. It’s pathetic.

Top 15 1/2 way through the season is fine. It’s up to GT to keep winning and climb from here out but the positioning is great

Explain to me the difference between FSU with 2 losses and PSU and Texas? The one main difference is FSU has a win over a power 4 program and a top 10 team in Bama.

I was just messing around, the polls are increasingly stupid and biased. Most projected brackets I have seen today have 5-6 SEC teams making it which makes no sense. It all seems like clickbait / rage bait to get more views.

100% the narrative. SEC/B10 teams can lose 3 games and still get in. ACC has to go undefeated or 1 loss. Texas, ND and Penn State should be unranked.

2-3 spots higher then I was expecting. It's the highest we could hope at this point. Our wins are not very impressive to date. JMO I'm happy though. Feels great!

I think the biggest injustice is we are ranked anywhere from 13th to Unranked in the coaches poll but UT and PSU lowest ranking have none unranked. That is so stupid.

Schlabitch has six (6!) SEC teams in his playoff projection. And only Miami from the ACC.

Duke game is setting up to be huge. We could be Top 10 going into that one. Pretty sure it’ll be a night game. They’ll have a week to prep for us too. The way we seem to play ACC teams not named Clemson FSU or Miami makes me worry more about that game than the UGA game.

they are just part of the whole “sport” platform. Yall already knew the media is a big participant in the sham this “sport” has become. Everything is completely biased to one particular conference and slightly to one other. Just like Rivals/ON3 ”talent evaluators”, most CFB writers, TV execs, etc. …they are the “bookers” who try to direct this ”sport” in one direction. I actually like WWE and once I realized for now this is what this is..helps me try to enjoy it more. Hopefully one day someone or something that really cares about college football will make it a real sport again. I am sure AP poll will not be far off the ”coaches’ poll.

Looking like Duke will be a tough one. We are going to have to stop approaching every game like “it’ll be a 4 quarter game”. We are going to have to start winning with style which means not being down or within one score in the 4th. Us squeaking wins just doesnt look impressive and I know we dont care about that but national perception does.

AP actually did a quality job this week

In a sane world where shame existed, these pollsters would have plenty today. Like others have said, these pollsters have their orders.
