Real program pays his buyout

We act like winning at Rutgers is impossible but Indiana gets the right guy in and they will make the playoff two years in a row. We act like he should be immune for life for going 6-6 occasional 7-5 and go to the jerkoff bowl on Christmas Eve. The heat should at least be turned up all the way on this guy. Thankful for what he’s done but the coaching is just garbage and watching Rutgers football is painful. He will go up to the podium and moan and groan and say the same BS. It’s almost an insult to fans at this point

Ain't happening. Someone call me when GS is gone. The talent isn't there and we play scared. This is the best the offense can play? This is Kirk's best version of offense? Not a big fan.

You are complaining about the offense? Do you even watch the games? Last of our worries. special teams 1st and defense second are HORRIFIC along with Gameday coaching, which has been long lasting

The team has regressed back into the ASH years with a good offense.

Reality is the state of the basketball and football programs are a lot closer than you think.

Nah. The dude flipped the script and took us to back to back bowl games. Hes earned a bit of equity, but there’s no free passes. He’s got this entire year and then all of next year. If it’s more of the same there will be a different discussion.

He gets next year but that will be the same as the last 7. He's then forced to retire and we can move on.

Year 6, pretty much out of bowl game contention in September. Other programs flip the script in a fraction of the time, we can't keep waiting forever. Need major changes now.

Ash would’ve lost this game by 30+. Schiano had more conference wins last season than ash had in his entire tenure. Disappointing for sure. Nothing remotely close to the embarrassment of the Ash years.

Rutgers is not paying the 2nd largest buyout ever to fire a guy that is foundational to the modern football program. That is more delusional than thinking Sabans gonna come here next. This will be a Schiano program for better or worse for 4+ more years. And I say that as someone that HATES his inability to beat any above average teams

I suspect he even has more time than that give the practicality of RU's financials. We just don't have the money to eat large portions of big ticket contracts. His contract runs through what, 2030? And people expect a coach to get fired for losing two toss up, basically one score losses? A cash strapped athletic department like Rutgers isn't firing anyone for losing close games.

If pike dies by the NIL sword (and not being able to field a complete team) then so does schiano

I'd be surprised if Kelli Zinn wants her AD career begin and end on the SS Schiano Tate is not the cut from the same cloth as Barchi and Holloway, future NIL donors will want to see an ROI and that doesn't mean a box at Yankee Stadium the week before Christmas

That's how bad GS is. Ash is now the measuring stick.

Indiana has eons more nil, donor support, and institutional backing/support. You can hire and fire all the football coaches you want it doesn’t change until Tate and Zinn have some time to set a new tone for how this school operates

Might be a good idea to change the name to NJ State or something. Rutgers has no juice.

We aren’t losing by 3-4 TDs … games are competitive
